For starting a business in Limburg province the StartersCentrum Limburg is the first point of contact for entrepreneurs and freelancers in the province of Limburg.

The StartersCentrum supports anyone wanting to start their own business and advises entrepreneurs on initial challenges they may encounter. This is made possible by a unique collaboration between a collective of Limburg municipalities and regional partners.

The StartersCentrum has a complete service offer, varying from one-on-one tailored advice to entrepreneurial projects, meetings and training. These services are free for residents of the participating municipalities. These include: all South Limburg municipalities, in addition to Roermond and Leudal in Mid-Limburg.

For starters and freelancers, the StartersCentrum is the first stop for entrepreneurship. We advise, inspire and stimulate the startups in our region. Entrepreneurship is both exciting and challenging: We believe a well prepared starter is a successful starter!

The StartersCentrum offers international residents in Limburg consultations in English. You can visit us during our international office hours at the Expat Centre for the Maastricht Region in Centre Ceramique. You can also make an appointment directly through our website with our business advisors in Heerlen, Maastricht, Sittard-Geleen and Roermond.

Consultation appointments are one of the core tasks of the StartersCentrum.

Once a year we organize a special information evening for internationals, “Starting a business in the Netherlands”. We host this interactive evening together with the Expat Centre and a number of our partners.
The next edition will take place in Maastricht when the covid measures allow it.
Our regular events and meetings are in Dutch. However, with a basic understanding of Dutch, you can still follow our program and are more than welcome to join.
